AUSTRALIAN MUSIC PRODUCERS "MARVEL" AT THEIR "PARTY LIFE"


Australian publishing house, 66 Music is proud to support its Australian songwriters as they rocket from the small screen to the big screen in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster "Logan".

"Party Life" featuring Blaze and Chin Check co-written by Australian music curators Nathan De Barros (Chin Check), Daniel Pinkerton, Joshua Pinkerton and Chad Stephens (Blaze), will be part of the movie soundtrack for the third and final Wolverine film “Logan” following the blockbuster hits: The Wolverine (2013) and X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009).

“It was an exciting moment when I was first approached by 20th Century Fox for the placement...” reflects 66 Music’s Creative Director and Head of Synch, Jessica Holmick “...I couldn’t be any prouder and delighted for our songwriters. It’s a thrill to play a part in such an amazing film franchise”.

The Australian music curators are also thrilled!

Logan is a 2017 American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Wolverine aka Logan, played by Hugh Jackman. Set in the near future of 2024, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart) in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant named Laura Kinney arrives, being pursued by dark forces. Directed by James Mangold best known for his work in Walk The Line (2005) The Wolverine (2013), Girl Interrupted (1999) and John Wick (2014).

The film, produced by Marvel Entertainment, distributed through 20th Century Fox is the tenth instalment in the X-Men film series and also stars Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Dafne Keen.
